ECFA's Annual
Golf Scramble and Dinner
June 15, 2010
St. Andrews Golf Course
in West Chicago
At this year's Golf Scramble, 43 golfers came to play the Lakewood course at St. Andrew’s Golf and Country Club in West Chicago. A beautiful and well manicured course brought out the gracious competitor in everyone. With the threat of rain from the weatherman, the Lord was good to give a fine day to enjoy and finish our golf games with just a few sprinkles.
Clive Craigen, Assistant Professor of World Missions and Evangelism shared a heartfelt and moving testimony regarding his family’s experiences as an ECFA foster family and their process with adoption. Then we topped off the evening with a rousing talk by Mike Swider, coach of the winning Wheaton College football team. Both Clive's and Mike’s messages were powerful, and challenged us to step out of our comfort zones to make a difference in the lives of others.
If you would like to participate in the next Golf Scramble (June 2011) or if you would like more information, please call ECFA at 630-653-6400 and ask for Jennie or email Jennie at mail@evancfa.org, Attn: Jennie, Re: Golf Scramble.
