ECFA hosts several fund-raising events each year. Click on the links below to learn more.
None of us are exempt from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and all of us at ECFA are keeping those affected in our prayers. Unfortunately, the mitigation efforts implemented to slow the spread of the Coronavirus have necessitated that we cancel our April 16th Topgolf outing, as well as our May 8th Love In Action dinner. Mark your calendars for Friday, April 30, 2021 when we will host our next Love In Action celebration.
While regrettable, we know that these actions are in the best interest of all, and are one way we can help take care of each other during these unprecedented times. For now, our June 23rd Golf Outing remains on the schedule, but subject to change should the current restrictions on mass gatherings be extended.
Pandemic or not, abused and neglected children still need our help, women continue to be challenged by unplanned pregnancies, babies and children are still in need of adoptive families, and people of all ages and walks of life still rely on our counselors to help them navigate life’s challenges. We continue to minister and serve, as we have for the past 70 years.
We will continue to follow guidance and best practices from health and government agencies to reduce the risk of infection from COVID-19. The well-being of our staff and clients has been, and will remain our top priority. We persist with a sense of appropriate caution, but not fear. We are rightly concerned, but not panicked. We know that we serve a loving God who is in total control, and that His promises are true.
Thank you for your for prayers, donations and willingness to volunteer. Our ongoing ministry is furthered by your generosity and partnership, which is needed now more than ever. Shortly we’ll be reaching out with an appeal for donations in lieu of this years’ cancelled Love In Action dinner, so keep an eye on our website and Facebook pages. In the interim, you can always donate online at www.evancfa.org. Lastly, please don’t hesitate to contact us (630-653-6400) if you have any questions, or prayer requests.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
