Parenting

Many women feel that they could benefit from some parenting support and education. Our services are based on your individual goals. We are available to work with you throughout the duration of your pregnancy and up to six months after birth. Services can also include birth father and family when appropriate. Pregnancy Support Services can assist you in a number of ways, including:

  • Pregnancy education
  • Education on early childhood development
  • Infant stimulation and cognitive development
  • Maintaining healthy relationships
  • Completing educational goals
  • Developing a parenting style
  • Stress management
  • Managing mental health, anxiety and depression during pregnancy
  • Budgeting
  • Assistance in locating other resources
  • Preparing for the range of emotions involved in parenting
  • Maternity or baby items available through donations to our program
  • Post-partum depression counseling
