In November 2016, we saw a picture of a little boy, and I couldn’t get him out of my mind. I cried daily over him and had dreams about visiting him. Zeke agreed that he was very drawn to this little boy. -Megan & Zeke
Leitha is a single adoptive mom who says “I always sensed God directing me to adopt children from another country”. Though single parenting can be a challenge, Leitha states “God has provided a wonderful community of close church friends and neighbors who provide amazing support.
During the season of waiting, we experienced some discouragement when a few possible placements that we pursued did not work out. We knew God had a specific child for us and continued to trust Him in the waiting, although at times it was difficult. -John & Alisa
The adoption triad has loss for all parties involved and yet, God has given us a sweet gift amidst that hardship. Our birth families and the sacrifices they have made are not lost on us. We are so grateful that we serve a Lord who is in the business of redeeming things and has allowed us to build our family on that foundation. As Christians we always seem to be in a season of “wait”; whether it’s for a spouse, a child, or another answer to prayer.
