Each therapist at ECFA has a professional education and all have been extensively trained to work with people in a wide variety of life circumstances. Our therapists are Christians who incorporate their faith into their counseling and base their therapy on biblical principles and values.
Arnold Lavaire is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, he has a B.S. in Psychology from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina, a M.A. in Counseling from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri, and M.Div. from Mid-America Reformed Seminary in Dyer, Indiana. Before joining ECFA, he worked in community mental health in the metropolitan Chicago community for the last 10 years. Julie Sellers, MA, MFT, M.Ed., is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Wheaton College Graduate. As a therapist, she works with individuals, couples, and families. Julie feels that building relationships is an important part of the therapeutic process and strives to connect with all clients in a meaningful way. Read more:
Appointments: Families and individuals can meet with a therapist on a weekly basis. Both daytime and evening hours are available.
Locations: Appointments are available at our Wheaton office: 1530 N. Main Street (Map)
Fees: Fees are affordable and are based on family income. The fee is normally paid at the time of the counseling session.
