Each therapist at ECFA has a professional education and all have been extensively trained to work with people in a wide variety of life circumstances. Our therapists are Christians who incorporate their faith into their counseling and base their therapy on biblical principles and values.
Arnold Lavaire is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, he has a B.S. in Psychology from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina, a M.A. in Counseling from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri, and M.Div. from Mid-America Reformed Seminary in Dyer, Indiana. Before joining ECFA, he worked in community mental health in the metropolitan Chicago community for the last 10 years. Julie Sellers has a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Wheaton College. As a therapist, she works with individuals, couples, and families. Julie feels that building relationships is an important part of the therapeutic process and strives to connect with all clients in a meaningful way. Read more:
Appointments: Families and individuals can meet with a therapist on a weekly basis. Both daytime and evening hours are available.
Locations: Appointments are available at our Wheaton office: 1530 N. Main Street (Map)
Fees: Fees are affordable and are based on family income. The fee is normally paid at the time of the counseling session.
