At Pregnancy Support Services, it is our great honor to come along side of women, couples, and families as they experience an unexpected pregnancy or simply need extra support during their pregnancy. We are master’s level counselors/social workers who provide free, professional, and confidential counseling in the client’s home or at another convenient location. We are privileged to serve women of all races, ages, and backgrounds in the Chicagoland area.
Pregnancy Support Services in-home counseling will prepare you for parenting or making an adoption plan. Services continue for several months after delivery. PSS can help you if you have other children as well; this does not need to be your first pregnancy. It is our hope that each woman in our program will reach a new level of confidence as they seek to be the best versions of themselves.
Guidelines for our program include being pregnant or having a newborn baby, and currently residing in the Chicagoland area (including DuPage, Will, Kane, Cook, and Lake Counties). There is no age requirement or income guidelines.
Counseling/ Educational topics you may discuss include:
- Having a healthy pregnancy
- How to have healthy relationships
- Postpartum depression symptoms and treatment
- How to maintain self-care
- Prenatal & infant development

PSS also helps with case management needs such as navigating permanent housing, applying for child support, applying for public aid, and connecting to community resources such as food pantries, clothing pantries, furniture referrals, and more.
